33Finance is now participating in the SMS Sender Registration Scheme

16 June 2025

In order to help public verify the identities of SMS sender, Office of the Communications Authority has implemented “SMS Sender Registration Scheme”.  Organisations participating in the Scheme have started using “Registered SMS Sender IDs” with

prefix “#” to send SMS to local subscribers of mobile services in Hong Kong. Only registered organisations are able to send SMS using their registered SMS sender IDs with prefix “#”. So when you receive an SMS from a sender ID with prefix “#” to a Hong Kong mobile number, you can easily verify that it is sent by a registered sender.

Starting from 20-Jun-2025,  33Finance will use below sender ID to send one-time SMS to customer’s Hong Kong mobile numbers.
