IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

As an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist at 33 Finance, you will provide enterprise-level support and management for our IT infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include:

PC Support:

• Provide specialized support and management for Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange, and all Windows server hardware.
• Assist with the implementation of products supported by the CUP Data.
• Provide onsite support to resolve technical issues.

Server Support:

• Manage permissions, quotas, and data backup strategies to ensure proper file server access controls, permissions, and security.
• Monitor server performance, address any issues, and optimize file storage and sharing.
• Utilize knowledge of file server technologies (e.g., Windows Server, NFS, SMB/CIFS).
• Configure, monitor and troubleshoot firewalls (hardware or software).
• Implement security policies and rules.
• Investigate and resolve network security incidents to ensure secure communication.

SQL Scripts:

• Write, optimize, and maintain SQL scripts for database operations.
• Create and modify database objects (tables, views, stored procedures).
• Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize queries.
• Collaborate with developers and CUP Data to ensure data integrity.

Vendor Coordination:

• Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software maintenance, installations, configurations, and repairs as needed.

Continuous Learning:

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technological trends and developments, continuously expanding your knowledge and skills to enhance support services.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience: Extensive experience in providing technical support and managing IT infrastructure.

Skills:

• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in managing Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, Exchange, and Windows server hardware. Familiarity with file server technologies such as Windows Server, NFS, and SMB/CIFS.
• Problem-Solving: Capable of hands-on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, with the ability to generate effective solutions for server performance, network security incidents, and SQL script optimization.
• Organization: Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail and quality in all tasks.
